Evening all :)
I've got myself an old Kyosho Lazer Alpha that I'm just getting back running
again, replacing the nylon hub bearings with ball bearings etc just for some
fun. The problem i have found is the wheels have died a UV initiated death

I'm going to buy an RC vehicle for myself and my sons for Christmas, and
I need some advice.  I've been doing RC planes for almost 20 years, and
I'm highly mechanically inclined.  But I am not very familiar with the
ins and outs of the RC car market.  I won't buy the baby-toy ...

my job is transferring me down there and i'm looking for a track.  i found
one (Timberline) that looks awesome but they are only permitted to run 19
races a year and no practice days.  the other one i found (in Pleasant Hill)
has better hours but will be about a 45 minute drive.
