How do you glue etched metal and plastic.07 Apr 2004 15:57 GMT5
Maybe a silly question.
Since I don't want to ruin a good kit and a etched detailing kit too.
What type of glue shoul I go for to glue the metal to the plastic.
There are really small parts, so I'm not that fond of epoxy.
Aifix Buccanneer07 Apr 2004 12:21 GMT6
I am making my second Buc' and was just wondering if EVERY kit is as warped
as the two I have lashed together?  I mean, I know they called it the
"banana jet" but making the moulds that shape is taking authenticity too
far!
1/32 Scale Pilots07 Apr 2004 11:42 GMT3
Does anyone have any extra 1/32 scale modern pilots they would like to part
with, need them for a dio with either the Monogram F-4E Phantom or the F-15E
Strike Eagle.  If you don't have them, does anyone know a good site to
purchase them from.
how to fix glue smear on windshield?07 Apr 2004 09:17 GMT6
If I got a partially built car kit that has some glue smeared on the
windshield, do you think I could fix it by using a dremel tool along
with something like a buffing wheel and emery compound so that it
most efficient chrome stripper?07 Apr 2004 04:55 GMT8
I've seen so many threads about strippers, I don't remember what all works for
which.  Oven cleaner for most paint (specifics?), and a few days ago I saw
something about Liquid Green, but don't remember what for.  Is there a
catch-all stripper that's efficient and inexpensive?  ...

What was the earliest styrene kit mag?
Just wondering how the first review would go:
Linberg - the leader in the field. Great detailed rivets......you fill

"Borrow" the kids Legos07 Apr 2004 04:17 GMT22
That's what I did years back to use them for mold walls in resin casting. They
don't leak and the latex peels right off when cured.
Now that I can't do resin casting any more (chemical contamination) and the
kids are grown up and moved out I found another use for them. Jigs for
1/72 scale U-Boat....GOT IT!07 Apr 2004 03:21 GMT24
(Angels singing) HALLELUJAH....HALLELUJAH..HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH...
I regret for what I said the last time. But finally I got it. Now, what
the hell is wrong with the u-boat.net? I went to it and it says This

Three Phase Converters07 Apr 2004 02:33 GMT6
I need to run a 7.5HP three phase lathe off a single phase supply.
Has anyone brought/used a phase convertor in that power range, if so where
did you get it from, what do you think of it?
Is it a static or rotary?
Ohka Bomb model?07 Apr 2004 00:58 GMT27

Fibreglass resin primer?07 Apr 2004 00:35 GMT1
It's all in the subject, do fibreglass resin need a primer? What's the
best?
Will an enamel light grey work?
Thanks in advance
Dodgem Cars07 Apr 2004 00:30 GMT7
Well off topic, but someone might know, or point me in the right
direction.
What voltage did fairground dodgems use?
I always thought it was very high, and a low current.
