Does a D1-4 camlock always have 3 pins? And should a D1-4 camlock chuck/faceplate etc fit any D1-4 spindle nose (minor pin adjustments aside)? Cheers, -Neil F.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I'm looking for a modelling CNC lathe and mill, and I know of the Sherline make (they look quite good) but want to know -are there any others out there to be considered? I want to get into this without spending a fortune, and a little shopping

Willis Nye did an 8 page set of scale drawing of the Loeing Amphibians. They probably appeared in the OLD "Model Airplane News" before I was born. Anyone have a set to trade or copy? Could use the Esoteric OA-1A vac kit, too!

A question for readers who live in Germany: of the spray paints available in the various Baumärkte, which, in your experience, is the most suitable for use on plastic models? I'm thinking particularly of primer for use as an undercoat with Revell or Humbrol enamels.
