Well I have nearly finished the Bill Bros C46 Commando just the lights and a bit of varnishing to do then it's done. I think I could have finished it a lot quicker if I hadn't been stupid and cut and repositioned all the dangly bits.

Hoping to toss this together over the weekend. Realized the markings for the tractor trailer combo are commercial. The "history" on the instructions say Honest Johns were transported to military facilities knocked down on commercial flatbeds.

I had occasion to fly through Minneapolis the other day and while we were taxiing out to take off, we passed the Minnesota Air Guard facility. In among the C-130's was a lone silver KC-97. Anyone know if this thing ever flies??

Just picked up the new Airfix LCVP Higgins Boat Landing Craft from Colpar Hobbies here in Denver. From previous posts, this is new mold in 1/72 (not 1/76) and it looks more Heller-ish than Airfix-ish to me. The kit includes 83 parts, 3 boat crew figures and THREAD for the bow
