Many moons ago (a good 25+ years) I recall seeing a built 1/35 M3 Lee tank
kit that appears to be glued together along the "seam line" of the chassis;
unlike most kits today where the lower chassis are molded in one piece. Does
this general description ring a bell to anyone? Not ...

Looking closely at pictures of Fletcher class destroyers, it appears
that late in the war ammunition for the 20mm guns was stored along the
inside walls of the gun tubs. However, early war pictures don't show
anything at all stored in that location. So where was the ammo for the

Long story short: When they say super glue is an extreme eye irritant,
I assumed they meant don't get the actual stuff in your eye. Little
did I realize the fumes are just as bad! Not a fun experience.

I'm building an Airfix 1/72 British 25lb field gun with quad vehicle,
and since these kits are rather sparse on details, I need help.
A pair of headlamps are shown on the box illustration, but none are

Just in case anyone is interested, supposedly RC/Ertl have bought Playing
Mantis (Johnny Lightning, Polar Lights, etc...). No official word yet but
there is a lot of action over on the Polar Lights and Johnny Lightning
