I'll be in the Pensacola area next week, I plan to go to Bobe's. I remember someone mentioning a shop that deals in old and OOP kits. Can anybody tell me what shop I'm asking about? Thanks in advance....Mark

| Dive Bomber | 19 Jun 2004 05:25 GMT | 3 |
I've been "over" watching the 1940 film Dive Bomber. It is a 45 min guy film after I skip past the 1940 mushy stuff. Is there any hope for a good model of the Vought Vindicator. Outdated at the start of the war, it is still the quintessential dive bomber to

OK, guys and gals. Our friendly folks at Special Hobby have announced two 1/72 scale kits that have long been at the top of the wants list. Considering the source they are probably going to cost a fortune.

I believe this is a new show to the History Channel (US.) They told the story of Mountbatten proposing to Churchill carriers made of pycrete. Pycrete was a slurry made of ice and sawdust and if used in colder climates would last indefinitely especially with the coolant piping they ...

| 1/35 Tiger Tanks | 18 Jun 2004 23:45 GMT | 1 |
I've always fancied building a Tiger tank, the Version I not the King Tiger. I'd guess I'd really like one of the more recent Tamiya attempts but they are rather pricey. So I've been looking at alternatives from Academy and Italeri.

| Source for Draken "Austrian Millennium" 1/72 decals | 18 Jun 2004 16:34 GMT | 1 |
I have the Heller Draken kit. I would like to make it up in some more colourful markings. I know that Hasegawa makes a Draken kit that has the "Austrian Millennium" decals but do any after-market companies make similar (or other colourful) decals.

Hey all! I went to both local HLs today. The only thing I could find I wanted was an AM Avenger night bomber. Neither store carries a lot. A guy at one store bought an AM Mistel. Nobody else around.

| Best relatively cheap BF109 reference?? | 18 Jun 2004 02:27 GMT | 1 |
Now that I have basically all my books out, I find that I really don't have much on the 109. Without starting a major snot-flinging hassle, what would you people recommend as a good general reference book on the 109 that doesn't cost much more than $40 or so?
