Curtiss Hawk 75A and bomb racks?13 Jul 2004 19:32 GMT1
I've encountered mentions about Finnish "Hawks" having "RM racks for bombs"
[1]. So fellow modellers, any clue if such were used by other airforces, or
is it just Finnish speciality? Also, I have no idea what did such racks look
like. What does RM mean?
Guildford show next weekend13 Jul 2004 19:02 GMT1
I am planning to go for the first time and wonder if anyone can give more
precise instructions as to where it is especially the entry than just
"Stokes park"
Looking at a map it would appear that the site is triangular with the A25 on
Triple ejector rack (TER) in 1/7213 Jul 2004 14:22 GMT5
Can anyone tell me if any kit has the TER for the 2.75 inch FFAR pods (M159)
such as fitted on the S-67 Blackhawk?  Is there a weapons kit perhaps that has
the TER?  I need two if anyone has any?

I lost the instructions to this kit.  I figured I  might be able to do
it without them, but of course much easier with them.  :)
I see Dragon has several stug variants, seems like maybe the

Missing instructions for Revell 39134 compressor12 Jul 2004 20:35 GMT2
I have just bought a Revell 39134 compressor (actually, mine is
branded as an Omega SA-15 but I understand them to be the same model)
but it was sold 'as-is' and came without box or instuctions. I've put
a link to it at http://tinyurl.com/2zr2e (redirects to the Revell

Krylon Primer & Krylon White12 Jul 2004 06:48 GMT5
Krylon gloss white (not Fusion) seems to be adhering extremely well without
primer.  I'm doing 1500 grit wet sand between coats.  I love the way it
looks after Micromesh polishing.  I'm very happy with the color and the
luster.  It's perfect.
Viet Nam Olive Brown12 Jul 2004 02:59 GMT1
I am building Roden's Mohawk kit and according to Squadron's In Action
book, Viet Nam Mohawks were painted olive brown.  Can anyone tell me
how I can make that color, my local hobby shop carries Model Master
and Tamiya.
Need advice to create a new Canopy?12 Jul 2004 00:05 GMT20
Building a Minicraft 1/144 Avenger but I really don't like the kit's canopy
because I know the thick clear plastic will look terrible on that scale.  I
read about heat-forming thin clear sheet to make a new one.  If anyone has
or knows of pics of an aircraft in that scale with a ...
