The tracks refer to the shoes used for each type. The most common ones are: T48 -- rubber "v" shaped chevron (thick) T49 -- three bar cleat (e.g. three steel bars that stick up, two on one side, one on the other)

Can anyone suggest where I can get some cable to run a three phase lathe from, it needs to be rated for 7.5HP/5.5KW. Can't seem to find any anywhere! Online would be good, otherwise Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire way.

I'm in the process of changing from AoHell to AT&T. I sent a link to my new email and tried to get here with it, but it directed me through AOL because the link I've been using has an AOL prefix (aol://5863:119/rec.models.scale), and that won't work once I drop AOL. Now I know ...

I need to punch many 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" square holes in .018" styrene. Is there a ready made punch set for sale ? If not, how might I go about making a punch/die set ?

Saw in the World War II mag, July/Aug pg 48 a pic of a half-track mounted 88 being used in Normandy. How were such conversions done? Since DML/Dragon holds the monopoly
