help with wash24 Jul 2004 06:26 GMT4
I am making my first attempt at using a wash to accent the panel lines on a
model aircraft but it hasn't been completely successful.
I painted the model mostly using Tamiya spray cans with a few small parts
brush painted using Tamiya acrylic. I left that to dry for a few days then

Aztek24 Jul 2004 03:01 GMT8
Got a problem with an Aztek A430. The trigger on top doesn't seem to move
the plunger inside the body when it's pulled back, but the plunger will move
against spring resistance if pushed back by a rod inserted from the front,
with the nozzle removed.

BQM-74E Target Drone23 Jul 2004 18:25 GMT2
I am interested in building a flying scale model rocket of the BQM-74E
Target Drone from Northrop-Grumman.  Does any one have any info on this
aircraft?  All I have found so far is length, diameter, and wingspan.  Any
help would be appreciated.
Need help with my "Honey's" rear end!23 Jul 2004 16:35 GMT3
Hi fellow plastic pervs.
Ok, minds out of the gutter. I'm tanking tanks here. I'm building
the Academy Honey tank. They give you a really nice kit with an
interior, but there's an overhang under the backside of the tank
Teflon thread tape as masking tape?23 Jul 2004 13:12 GMT18
Has anyone here ever used teflon thread tape as an alternative to hobby
masking tape?  Y'know, it's the white non-sticky tape that we use on our
pipe and coupler threads to prevent air leak while airbrushing.  I was
wondering if it is safe if I applied it on an acrylic paint coat ...
Color of Italeri 1/72 figures...23 Jul 2004 07:49 GMT1
Howdy all.
I want to buy a set of the Italeri ww2 British paratroopers and ww2 US
infantry figures, but would like to know what color they are molded in.
I've written to Italeri direct, but haven't yet heard back.
How do you decide what kits to offer for sale?23 Jul 2004 07:46 GMT28
hopefully I will be moving in a month or so and had hoped to sell some
of my collection to have less to move and to have a few bucks to spend
on expenses....  I will have room to store the unbuilts at the new
place. The buildups, well that could be a problem.
[Q] V-1 bomb in luft46 designs?23 Jul 2004 06:55 GMT29
Just got hold of Tamiya's beautiful 1/72 Fiseler V-1 bomb, and I'm
thinking of doing something different from the bomb on trolley look.
Were there any Luft 46 designs that used the V-1 bomb?
