Most times I write to ask questions, and have gotten wonderful advice.
I thought for a change I'd write to say what I'm working on, and let you
know that I've benefitted from your input on this project.
My current project is a diorama in 1/72 scale, on an 8x10 frame.

Does anyone know what 'nogaline' is and where to buy it and if there
is an alternative please? I believe it is some type of paint or
coating used on model wooden ships. My brother in law has had a model ship

seems like there are nothing but cruiser, battleship and aircraft
carriers that have been turned into museums.  my grandfather was on the
USS Strong  in WWII (taken out by a Long Lance I believe) and was
curious if any DD's of that class still exist, or are all the DD's gone?

Could anybody tell me the date when manufactures stopped putting swastikers
on boxes please?. Just discussing it with my better half while talking about
the old Airfix P51B "The Hun Hunter Texas" and the row of victory markings
under the cockpit.

Minicraft 1/16 Jaguar SS100 - Spoked Wheels Not Chrome - Defect?31 Aug 2004 11:01 GMT4
Okay, I build a car about 1 every 20 years so this is new to me.
The Minicraft kit has a separate chrome tree but the spokes are molded
in black plastic. Is this how Minicraft does it or do I have
a defective sprue?  I can spray them with chrome silver but they

my spare box is getting large, how do you organize yours?
so far i just have the glass seperate. need to start on
guns, wheels etc. i wanted to use empty kit boxes but i
don't want to write on them. they are another project.

I had decals came lose and bubbled on my last couple of models. After decaling,
I let the models dried for 24 hours. I then washed them with warm water using
some dish washing detergent. Luckily those that came off were the small
stencils and not that obvious. I managed to save some ...
