Found a holy grail at the Nats19 Aug 2004 21:25 GMT17
I enjoy AJ Press books but only the English translations. It's just really
heartbreaking knowing there's all that knowledge and I can't read it. So around
1999 they came out with their books on the Ju-188/Ju-388 volume 1 & 2. Well, I
bought volume 1 without any problem but couldn't ...

What do you all think of Badger's 150 dual action airbrush?  I've been
thinking of eventually getting it, but not right

enlarging and reducing 1/48 scale plans19 Aug 2004 15:38 GMT1
Help!  I can't do the math.  I want to enlarge some 1/48 scale plans
to 1/32nd scale.  What do I multply it with?  Conversely, I would like
to reduce some 1/32nd scale decals to 1/48 and 1/72 scale.  What's the

Eagle Surface Grinder19 Aug 2004 15:37 GMT2
Can anybody tell me what sized motor is normally fitted to an Eagle
surface grinder? I'd guess that it's about 3/4 - 1HP
It's an easy question to answer if you have the grinder with a motor -
and I have a grinder without a motor!

Higher Prices for US Aircraft Kit Subjects?19 Aug 2004 08:26 GMT117
Greetings all,
Michael Bass of Stevens International emailed out an interesting note to
inform us that companies like Boeing are seeking to turn US military
aircraft like P-51 Mustang and F-15 Eagle into trademarks so they can, in
same scale decals interchangable?19 Aug 2004 05:32 GMT13
This may sound like a dumb question, but would decals of the same scale be
interchangable to any other aircraft in that scale, regardless of the
difference in size of the full scale aircraft?  If not, how would you know
which ones to use off a generic sheet of markings?

Prolific online hobby retailer?19 Aug 2004 00:56 GMT7
Is there a good, or a "best one-stop" e-tailer that specializes in
modelling?  I've found a few online, but I am looking for a place where I
can buy all my kits, paints, and particularly, (and I would love it if I
could just get all of my side equipment...)  Things such as solva-set ...
