[Q] Fujimi's 1/72 A-6 and EA-6A?16 Aug 2004 21:23 GMT4
How are these kits? I understand that they have recessed panel lines,
but no wingfold like the italeris. Is the detail on par with Hasegawa
products, or is it better (like in the cockpit?)
1/72 USAF numbers/letters decals? 16 Aug 2004 18:05 GMT3
What is the number of the Superscale decal sheet in 1/72 that has the black
numbers and letters for USAF aircraft, if one wants to make your own tailcodes/serial
numbers? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

F-4F to F-4EJ?16 Aug 2004 05:48 GMT8
I've got the Revell/Hasegawa F-4F 1:48 kit, but the decals are ruined. I do,
however, have a sheet of rather nice F-4EJ (Pre 'Kai') decals. Can any of
the Phantom experts out there tell be how much work would be involved in
converting the F-4F to an F-4EJ, beyond taking it from a ...

Air brush/Automotive Paint15 Aug 2004 07:13 GMT4
Has anyone used automotive paint in their air brush?  I have some extremely

Fiero).
I'm rather proficient with my air brush and blending paint into an older

appears that the sets they had in the 70's are back, and much higher in
price.
the text in this link says they are pre thinned for airbrushes.  Does
this mean that they cannot be brushed?  I'm not of the airbrush clan....
Weathering a Zero for 7 Dec15 Aug 2004 05:17 GMT8
Been working on the Tamiya Zero, and was wondering about weathering,
particularly for Dec 7.  I've seen pics of various Japanese aircraft that look
like they've been through a sandstorm, but as I recall, these were all painted
dark green, not the gray I plan to use, and I don't know ...

Airfix 1/600 Queen Mary II - a look in the box14 Aug 2004 23:34 GMT5
Parted with my £24.99 at Argos in Falkirk today and left the shop with a
surprisingly big box (60cmx35cmx11cm) containing the Airfix version of the
QMII kit.  Presentation of the packaging is very good indeed, with a nice
painting on the top and photographs of the ship's interior ...
Inexpensive Sherman interior?14 Aug 2004 23:15 GMT4
I'm doing a 1/35 diorama of an M4A3 75mm (from the Tamiya kit)
face-to-face with an M7 Priest (Italeri) on a one lane road, with both
crews checking their maps and arguing over which of them is lost. Since
all the crew hatches on the Sherman will be open, I need some interior
