Newbie help with planking Spanish San Fransisco Galleon by Artesania Latina14 Aug 2004 22:25 GMT3
Hi, I am building my first wooden ship model.  It is a San Fransisco
Galleon.  The instructions are terrible, so I rely mostly on the
pictures provided.
Anyway, I have planked the outside of the ship and need help planking

After meeting at the Sequoia Conference Center for the past 9 years it
suddenly, and without prior notice, closed it's doors on August 1st.  We have
had to scramble to find a new meeting location on two weeks notice.

I'm looking for a small piece of mild steel,  preferably free cutting for a
project,  2-1/2 x 2-1/2 x 1-3/8 (inches).
When finished it's supposed to be a four way tool post.

Anyone out there able to tell me what the two little flip up doors on the
wings, upper side, just out from the wing root and towards the trailing edge
are used to indicate? Is it the flaps extended or the undercarriage? I would
like to display them open, more detail, but would like ...

Hi. I have an old Aztec airbrush with acrylic paint dried on the inside
I have tried to run Windex through it but it is clogged...
Will soaking it in Windex do the trick?
Is there some other product I can try before tossing it in the trash?
