ER type Collet Chucks INFO11 Aug 2004 00:05 GMT2
I recently sold an ER20 Collet Chuck on EBAY, and the buyer thought the Locking
Nut on the chuck was faulty, he thought that it was NOT machined properly on
the inside. I had to explain that this was normal, as the eccentric lip inside
was to remove the collet after using! How many ...
Newbie airbrush question(s)10 Aug 2004 22:36 GMT2
At long last I'm ready to take my modeling up a few notches by using an
airbrush.
A while back I purchased an Aztek A470 airbrush kit and a good
compressor from my local hobby shop.
Little OT, but has something to do with modelling!10 Aug 2004 22:22 GMT5
I saw a fax from a US wholesaler while working in the model shop on Sat, i
was saying to my boss what would sell that isnt generally available in the
UK so i have to get from the US myself.
Anyway got me thinking, after speaking to a wholesaler in CT area and how i

Model Car Instructions10 Aug 2004 09:00 GMT8
Does anyone know where I could obtain some instructions for a 1971
Hemi Cuda. It's  revell-monogram brand. I spilled some paint all over
it and it's ruined. I've looked all over the internet for them but no
luck. I've even tried revell-monogram's missing part claim, but no

Sherman Color10 Aug 2004 03:33 GMT5
I have just finished assembling Dragon's Sherman Vc Firefly.  I don't think
that it was painted olive drab as were U.S. tanks.  Seems that I have read
or heard of a British Bronze Green that was used on their armor.  Does
anyone know and do you also know a commercial paint color ...

Academy 1/48 scale F-86E09 Aug 2004 17:59 GMT1
Purchased this kit recently, hoping it would have deployed slats as the 1/72
scale version does.  NOT--the slats are molded in the retracted position.
Also, the scribing seems a bit light and, at times, indistinct.  Not a major
issue, but I like the smaller kit of the slatted "E" a ...
Need material that's like linoleum without twine backing09 Aug 2004 17:22 GMT4
I'm looking for some material that has the same characteristics as the
olive/tan colored linoleum you find in art supply stores. I.e. - can
be precisely sanded, readily cut with an X-acto knife etc. I would
need it to come either in approx. 1/8" sheets or be readily mixable so
