Does anyone here use the 7 gallon, 2 hp Sears Companion compressor for airbrushing? How loud is it? How often does it kick on to refill during model painting time? How long does it take to refill to the max when it kicks in? Does it have leakage on its stock attachments such as ...

| Dore Westbury milling machine guard | 07 Aug 2004 18:16 GMT | 1 |
I have a Dore Westbury milling machine a bit like this one:- http://www.wokingprecision.f9.co.uk/machine/we11/light_vertical_milling_machine.jpg and like this one mine has no guard round the pulleys and belts. In use it's a bit disconcerting having exposed pulleys whizzing close to

| Hogging chains--Robt E Lee | 07 Aug 2004 09:52 GMT | 4 |
I'm currently dinking around with the Lindberg (ex-Pyro) Robert E. Lee Mississippi steamboat kit, trying to add some detail so it doesn't look too toylike. Right now I'm carving out 112 window openings so I can add N-scale model railroad building windows, but that's not important ...

| Revell F/A-18 | 06 Aug 2004 23:19 GMT | 1 |
I recently picked up a Revell 1:48 "CF-18 Hornet 'D-Day'" kit from 1994 on ebay. Upon inspection, the kit seems to have strange air intakes that are somewhat flattened on the outside edge, unlike the F/A-18's characteristic 'D' shape, which I can't see on any images of the Monogram ...

Does anyone know if Revelogram's new kits are reboxings of Hasegawa's? In particular I'm considering buying the 1/32 ME-109G4, and the 1/48 Stuka, F-4E Phantaom and the FW 190 (the stuff in the current Squadron flyer).
