Simulating canvas21 Aug 2004 10:14 GMT10
I need to put canvas / tarpaulin sheeting on the guardrails around the
bridge of my 1/72 corvette.  Considered toilet paper soaked in PVA or
similar, does anyone have a good idea of how else I could produce this?
Maybe one of you military modellers has a way of simulating vehicle ...

This was made by Empire Models , that was the name on the box anyway.  A
friend of mine showed off this beautiful metal kit he got some years ago

Armybook.com Anyone having trouble?20 Aug 2004 23:35 GMT2
I was hearing stories in 2003 about Armybook.com becoming unreliable,
and it seems that I concur.  In January, I placed a $200 order for
books, which never arrived.  They even admit that they didn't ship
them.  Anyone else having trouble?
Klingon Battlecrusier20 Aug 2004 22:46 GMT50
Has anyone else built this kit from AMT/Ertl?  If so how were the seams?
It seems as if on my kit EVERY seam needs
sealing with putty.  I'm using the Squadran white I went with the white
over the other colors the shop had I think they

72nd F-14 question20 Aug 2004 20:28 GMT4
Okay, I've built the newest generation Hasagawa F-14A, but I want to build a
bunch and the Hasa kit is a bit too fiddly and a little too expensive to buy
in mass quantities.  I know the Italeri kit has some problems (is the Revell
of Germany a reissue of this?) and the Airfix kit is ...
French Jaguar rocket pods20 Aug 2004 20:03 GMT6
The Italeri 1/72nd scale Jaguar A has four-shot rocket pods with a square cross
section.
Anyone know who make the real ones and what other aircraft and countries might
use them? I vaguely recall a Viggen cutaway with something like those among the
British turrets20 Aug 2004 19:30 GMT12
Did the RAF bombers ever have a turret
that had 4 .303 guns in it? Most of the kits
I've seen and owned only had 2. Who made
these turrets and were they pedal controlled

X-wing photos20 Aug 2004 08:02 GMT2
I'm looking for photos of the studio model of X-wing "Red 2" from Star Wars.
I've seen the excellent photos on the Starship Modeler site, but I wonder if
anyone knows where I can find photos of the underside?  Thanks.
