CITGO model cars from the '60s11 Sep 2004 06:31 GMT1
A few years ago I picked up most, if not all, of the little model cars
given away at CITGO stations back in the '60s. Most or all were very
old cars & I guess around 1/65 - 1/43 scale. I remebered them from my
childhood when I was into 'little cars', like HotWheels, Matchbox,

from and here's the nest stuff i got today.

I am in the process of moving my Lathe ,a Weiler from the garage to a new
workshop at the bottom of the garden .All the paint that was on the drip

   I'm in the process of scratchbuilding/kit bashing an upgraded Romulan
Bird of Prey from the Original Star Trek Series.  I'm trying to place the

I've got a badly corroded cast iron gearbox casing to repair. It's the
reducing gear from a Lister JP marine. These have a water cooling
jacket, superfluous on a 21hp JP2, but this one has evidently suffered

Well I am not really new to modeling, but I have not built a model in about
15 years, when I was 10 and I really only glued them and slapped some paint
on them, and hung them from my ceiling.
Did that sentence make any sense to anyone other than me?
