More Transformer Oil29 Sep 2004 20:37 GMT9
Before we took the main plating transformer to the scrappie, we drained out
about 100 gallons of very clean oil, which is a Shell mineral oil according the
the transformer plate.
Before we throw that into the waste oil receptacle at our local garage, does
USS Forestal CV-5929 Sep 2004 19:39 GMT3
Is there a conversion kit to back date the Italieri 1/720 scale ship to 1965
era? If not is the revell CV-60 Saratoga my best chance to build this kit?
Smarty Jones to rendered into glue29 Sep 2004 17:38 GMT99
Smarty Jones, defeated by 7-1 challenger Birdstone at today's Belmont
Stakes, will be sold to Thompson's Rendering of Wyoming Valley, Pennsylvania
for slaughter and processing.  The heroic horse that captured America's
heart since winning the Preakness three weeks ago, will yield ...
Slightly OT- Rolls Royce Nene- 29 Sep 2004 15:24 GMT19
Something hit me out of the blue just now- I always had heard that RR jets
were named after rivers mainly. Where did the name Nene come from and it
can't be from the Hawaiian state bird, can it? How does one pronounce Nene?
I will not rest soundly until I know, so please tell me ...
Sagrada Familia cathedral29 Sep 2004 14:23 GMT1
Does anyone know where I could get a scuplture, model kit or poster
that shows the details of the Sagrada Familia church in Spain?  I
would like to be able to view the statues/ gargoyles, etc., so it
would have to be fairly detailed.
How long will we wait?29 Sep 2004 12:02 GMT23
Tank and AFV 1/35 modelers have kits with realistic surface structures
"for ages"..
However, there are NO (NONE!!) aircraft models that have that! Even on

Anybody know how far this progressed? Photos?

This was my first armour attempt. I'm sure I have made some blunders as far
as historical accuracy goes, and I'll be happy to hear your thoughts on it.
Howbeit, I am happy with the result and it was a lot of fun to build.
Decal making questions29 Sep 2004 05:03 GMT19
All righty now. Got the Scanjet 3200C running, got the Deskjet 932C
humming along and next I'm gonna pull out the Alps on the shelf behind me
and see if I can get it going. (Or talk SWMBO into letting me trade it up
for a 5000).
New AModel I-1629 Sep 2004 04:26 GMT12
