Now that I have my cnc mill setup I am in search of tooling. I just have
two collets for the time being, one 3/16" and the other 1/4". I can
easily find slot drills and ball nosed end mills, but I am unable to
find any small corner/radius cutters with a shank size 1/4" or less.

Just got my Aurora C-141 that I won on Ebay. You know that anticipation you
get when you are opening the box for a long waited kit. But the first thing
I notice before I get the wraping paper off is the smell. There is a certain
smell that old Aurora kits have. It's much different ...

What do folks here do when detail highlighting white wheel wells? If you
drybrush, what color(s) have been most effective? What about pastel chalks?
If so, what color(s)? Thanks...

What's the difference between Acrylic and Enamel paints ?

Does anyone have information on just what this stuff is supposed to be
used for? The owner of the shop I go to says that it is to be painted
on bare plastic to make paint adhere better. Tried and got white

I have a model that the ends of the decals are starting to lift up or curl.
Is there anyway to fix this? I meant to spray on a clearcoat but never did
so it appears I may be paying the price.

I recently finished a HighPlanes Commonwealth Wackett, and after screwing up
with some Floquil green paint that had gone bad (will I ever learn?) I used
some old Humbrol paint I had around, and thinned it a tad and handbrushed it
on, and it came out beautiful.  It got me thinking- ...

Anyone know what it was? All the photos I have are black & white, and I
can't tell whether the panel is olive drab or black. TIA for any help.

It took me 7 trips in my SUV with all the seats down to move my built
up kits to my new house. 7 trips!  And I did not break one single
thing. Kinda wish I
had because I have too many of them.

I had damage from Hurricane Ivan last week. Ok, the question is that does
models consider personal property when they are damaged?
