Delurking in search of help.
I'm looking for a supplier/stockist of Thackeray Washers (helical spring washers, similar in form to a keyring ).   I
only need a few hundred to start and then a few thousand.  Several makers are happy to make me what I want, but in vast
quantities, ...

I'm searching for the 1:48th scale Cutlass from Hobbycraft. Willing to trade or
pay any reasonable price.

30% of sale and they have lots of williams bros.
no i didn't. i got an airfix sm79 for $6.

So anyone can tell me or give me somewhere to look for references of the Red
Baron's Triplane?  I've heard contrary to popular belief that the Baron's plane
wasn't all red and I have the Squadron book that shows a red upper wing and red
tail.  any other comments?

   Do they still make it? Or have I look for it on auctions?

Maybe it's just me, butI've tried to access the "Aircraft Resource
Center" website from two different computers since last night, and I
keep getting the dreaded "Website Unavailable" alert.
 Did Dan's Mon-key spill banana beer on the computer again?

 I'm thinking of getting back into model building ( Airfix type ),
and i'm looking for a good on-line shop in the UK, I saw one site
which listed the Kit, plus All other materials needed ( paints for the
kit and such) but it was a US site.

Just got hold of this set of decals for the Revell 1/72 Type VIIC - part
2 focuses on some of the white schemes I mentioned in an earlier post.
Very nice printing, and the color callouts in the instructions are a bit
better than in the first set.

O.k., thanks for pointing me to www.hannants.co.uk ( love the
selection ) but i have a question, Where on the site does it list
materials needed for each kit ( paints and such ) ?

I'm looking for the kit decals for 9W + BO supplied with the Revell
Bf110 G4/R3 kit. Happy to purchase them or trade. I have some
Aeromaster and Cutting Edge sheets for the Bf110.

I need to make some 1/2" whitworth studs, what is the best way to do this on
a lathe?
In the past I have cut the thread almost to size with a 55 degree HSS tool
then finished it off with a die.

....so says the ticker on CNN last night. It maks me sick as they had some one
