Great Blunders in Scale Modelling18 Oct 2004 00:59 GMT12
My latest is the fact that I have to remove a hardened coat of future
from my model.
I am modelling a wreck of the Titanic and have to remove the finish
from only a section of the hull.  Any ideas.  There is a lot of raised
Meteor Conversions17 Oct 2004 23:54 GMT1
Guys,
I'm looking for the old Aeroclub conversions for the 1/72 Matchbox
Meteors.  Specifically, I'm looking for the T7 and FR9 conversions.
They are no longer listed on Aeroclub's site and I haven't seen them
Actually Model Related: 1/24 Pickup Question17 Oct 2004 23:29 GMT12
Is there a tailgate extension available in aftermarket or one of the
plastic kits?  By that I mean the tubular framework that sits on the

future to 50% alcohol, applied with a small brush around the edges, will remove
most, if not all of it. what other methods are ...

I am working on the Academy 1:144 B-58.  Can anyone give me a good
colour/color reference for the wheel well fairings above the wing?  The
photos I have found are unclear, with very questionable colour balance,

Pozilock Chuck16 Oct 2004 16:33 GMT8
I have a PoziLok chuck which uses threaded collets.  If I make a new collet
without the thread, provided the collet is properly dimensioned for the
chuck/cutter,  I should still be able to grip the cutter securely.  Or
should I?
