It sounds like a dumb question i know, But i've seen some combination

I was thinking of making a travelling steady for my ML7 (the new part
from Myford or 2nd hand on ebay are a bit too rich for me) - I have 2
options:
either make a steady from thick (20mm) aluminium plate - like this one

I just got a set of the new Italeri 101st Airborne figures in 1/72, a
re-release of the old Esci set.
The quality is excellent but the color referrence seems inaccurate.
For one thing, Model Master Field Drab is called for on this set, and
