Bush Really kicked Kerry's a.s in the 2nd Debate!09 Oct 2004 20:35 GMT9
Might as well practice the Bush doctrine and use a pre-emptive strike
against Vessticles.

I create scale models of UFOs from outer space !09 Oct 2004 20:22 GMT21
I like to take fake photos of UFOs and fool the geeks that believe in them.
It's great fun to create new UFOs every month.
Revell F-105D09 Oct 2004 19:13 GMT6
Does anyone know if Revell Monogram's 1/48 F-105D (kit #5840) is the old
Monogram offering? The only reviews I can find say the old Monogram kit has
serious shape and proportion problems. Do you agree? Maybe I should wait to
see if another manufacturuer decides to do a 1/48 Thud. ...

I am about to try to build a Stuart D10 engine and will buy the

Panzerspahwagen 223 : Another One finished09 Oct 2004 09:44 GMT1
This was my first attempt at a DAK finish. I've learnt a few things along
the way, and I'm sure the next one will be better. The model was finished
with Tamiya Dark Yellow under a German Grey coat. It was preshaded with Flat
black. It received a wash of Winsor Newton Burnt Umber ...
(AIR) Good read09 Oct 2004 09:23 GMT6
This is a head's up for those who also have an interest in the history
of the aircraft we model and the people who flew them. I hit Barnes &
Noble this afternoon and low and behold there is a new edition of Pierre
Clostermann's "The Big Show" on the shelf. I first read this when I ...

Okay - I've got a simple project going on here and being a bit of a noob I
need some help ;)

How does Trumpter 1/32 Wildcat undercarriage compare to old Revell?08 Oct 2004 19:44 GMT1
In the dozen or so times I built the old Revell kit, I never got the plane
level. The assembly and instructions of the undercarriage was poor to
say the least.
How well does the Trumpeter version go together?
AV-8B08 Oct 2004 14:32 GMT2
Are there 1/48th decals available for a VMA-311 AV-8B in Desert Storm? They
were the first unit to use the Harrier in combat the day and I can't seem to
find decals for them in Desert Storm. The Hasegawa "Night Attack" kits with
a nice set, but for a bird in May 1998.
What is the tool to use?08 Oct 2004 02:07 GMT13
If I want to cut holes of diameter from about 0.75 -1.5" in 3mm thick
brass sheet, what kind of drill should I use? Any brand name? TIA.
alclad/lacquer question?08 Oct 2004 01:06 GMT4
What is a good thing to clean an airbrush with after using alclad II?
So far I've been able to find 'lacquer thinner', but since I have no
idea what a 'lacquer' is, that doesn't do much for me....
Alclad II is 'lacquer' - wat is een goed Nederlands woord hiervoor?
Sorry...But I Have Another Dumb Question08 Oct 2004 00:04 GMT13
