| Help- Best way to remove crazy glue? | 06 Oct 2004 13:31 GMT | 5 |
The title says it all. I bought dollar store crazy glue which spilt on a painted model I'm working on. Other than sanding , which mostly removes the surrounding plastic, what is available to remove this rock hard glue?

| Confused about kit instruction | 06 Oct 2004 12:24 GMT | 79 |
I am building the Airfix 1/24 Stuka. There's a step that states: "For a standing model, remove section of spat halves with a sharp knife" Does "a standing model" refer to a model that rests on its wheels or a

| Shim for liner flange | 06 Oct 2004 12:10 GMT | 17 |
Part of the day job at present is overhauling a Crossley BW1, 1940's 4-stroke single cylinder diesel, 5" bore with a wet liner. I've hit a snag in that the liner should project by 2 to 8 thou above the block face , to ensure the gasket is properly compressed. Tried

| Tornado versus C-130 | 06 Oct 2004 12:02 GMT | 12 |
Check out the aftermath photos from a tornado that dropped into the airbase home of the 166 Airlift Wing, DE ANG. It is a less-than-subtle reminder of the power of mother nature! Check 'em out at www.cybermodeler.com

| looking for a drill | 06 Oct 2004 07:22 GMT | 1 |
I am looking for a drill like a Fobco 7/8. For drilling 4" holes with a hole saw into stainless steel I need a minimum speed of 80 RPM or less. I need to drill these into the ends of control boxes, some of which are a

| Trumpeter NA-10 N/AW canopies | 06 Oct 2004 05:50 GMT | 7 |
I notice that there is a line running about half the length on each of the canopy and the line becomes thinner extending the other half of the canopy. Are these lines suppose to be there or do I have to sand them off? Thanks a lot for your advice.

| Old Revell 1/28 bipes. Why 1/28? | 06 Oct 2004 04:07 GMT | 11 |
Sort of like the 1/24 vs 1/25 vehicles discussions & the 1/32 vs 1/35 combination in a diorama discussion. Any ideas on why Revell chose to do their WWI a/c in 1/28, instead of something like 1/32, or maybe even 1/24?

Ahem ... Could someone please give me the scoop on the so-called "UV cut" clearcoats in the Mr. Color range of paints? (Or any other range of paints for that matter.)

| Tamiya Parts | 05 Oct 2004 23:00 GMT | 5 |
I'm looking for parts for a Tamiya Swordfish - the F parts to be precise. I realise it's unlikely anyone has them sat around, but I thought it might be worth a try. Trying to get parts from the Hobby Co. is like pulling teeth.
