Myford Super 7 half-nut problem and other parts question27 Oct 2004 14:04 GMT9
I got a leadscrew nut assembly (from Myford) for my Super7 and it does
not fit (It's not even close). The dovetails at the back of the
half-nuts are a completely different pitch than on my machine so I
can't slide the nuts into my apron. Also, the nut inside appears to be

Francill.ANsn and all his followers).

Panther II at Patton Museum?27 Oct 2004 03:37 GMT3
Hey I'm gathering a little info for a 1/48 conversion and it appears there are
no drawings available? So I was wondering if anyone who lived close to the
museum might be able take some pictures for me? I only have 2 pictures, one
from the Osprey Panther Variants 1942-1945 and one in ...

Is the interior of a B-17E different than a B-17F?26 Oct 2004 23:51 GMT1
Just wondering what differences there are between an B-17 "E" interior
and an "F" interior (I'm thinking about purchasing the Legend 1/72
B-17F interior detail set for a B-17E project).
Also, if someone could point me towards any interior photos of the
chemical etching/milling26 Oct 2004 23:49 GMT19

I would like to use brass/stainless sheets.

Cutting Edge U-2 resin parts question26 Oct 2004 22:00 GMT4
I'm building a U-2B in 1/72 (Academy/Seminar kit), see my web site for a report
of my adventures so far. Life is much more interesting for 1/48 U-2 builders
though, with a long list of resin U-2 parts available in 1/48 scale from
Cutting Edge. Included in the list is item 48-299: ...
Rapidor Saw26 Oct 2004 21:28 GMT4
Coincidence or what?
All this talk of Rapidor saws recently and today I find that there might be
a lightly used model being disposed of at work.
I can't imagine that they will want much money for it. I could enquire if
Airfix 1/600 HMS Iron Duke26 Oct 2004 21:26 GMT2
Who's got experience with this one? It looks like the only choice for
building an HMS Iron Duke in small (or any other) scale. Unfortunately
