Personal for Vessticles25 Oct 2004 22:50 GMT36
Hey Vessticles.
I fulfilled my sacred civic duty.  I just came back in from dropping my
absentee ballot in the mail - don't worry, I checked it carefully to make sure
there are no "hanging chads" on the back.  Do you think you could guess who I

Nowhere on the decals sheets or the placement guide is there a date.
Anybody know?  Were these convention decals?  Which one?

Model clubs in the Fort Knox, KY area?25 Oct 2004 05:06 GMT1
Getting moved back to Ft. Knox for what could potentially be my final
assignment. Any model clubs still around the area? I remember being a member of
the Goldbrickers that met in Radcliff while in my advance course in 1991, but I
hear they've gone away.
Grumman YAS-2D, modified Tracker?25 Oct 2004 04:39 GMT1
I was thumbing thru a book on Grumman a/c & in the section on the S2F
it mentioned the above proposal. A modified night attack version for
the USAF in 1966. Only on paper, but I thought it might be neat to add
one to my SEA 'what-if' collection. I figure it would've been in a

Hurricane camouflage in Middle East24 Oct 2004 19:27 GMT26
Hi,
I know that RAF did not adopt the tropical Dark Earth/Middle

How were RAF Hurricane aircraft camouflaged in Middle East in 1940

new gimmick (slightly O.T.)24 Oct 2004 15:39 GMT13
