    I'm building Eduard's 1/72 e.iii in Udet's spring 1916 colors
- red bands on fuselage / old style crosses. Looking around, I can't
decide whether to add a windscreen. Some of the drawings and models
out there show a windscreen, and some do not. The Eduard kit does not

For those who could want to know how to build the kit before to buy it,
the instructions are downloadable on the FFSMC since today. I think the
model sold buy Airfix is quite similar.

the hull is metal but looks good, cant remember the name of the damn thing.
Can this be used later? i have some of the armour for Iraq2002 or there

A friend has a 16mm to the foot, 32mm gauge coal-fired loco which we try
to use on an end to end five station layout, with full staff and token,
belled between boxes, operation.  Other locos on the line are battery, or

I am just reading a book about all the stupid crashes that happened in
the Fleet Air Arm during this period. Having been looking for some
focus in my modelling, I thought that I might concentrate on these.

A bit big for models (again):
I need to cut a 'rebate' for a ring gear, about 1" deep & 1" wide, on
a 24" dia flywheel weighing about 200 Kg by my calculation.
I've had a couple of jobs like this in the past which I've taken away
