What is/are good online sources of tools for plastic models? Things like X-Acto blades, panel scribers, files, sandpaper, plastic polish, stuff like that. TIA.

If I wanted to represent a fire fight with lots of casings around, like on the floor of an M16 Motor Carriage, what gauge brass wire would I use to represent the casings? and how long would they be?, probably not more than a mm in that scale?

My model shop sells Dapol plastic kits, i belive to be v old Airfix kits. As i work there on a Sat i noticed that the cardboard buildings sold well and the Horby plastic ones too, but not as many of the kit ones. I thought it maybe a good idea to build them up myself, and hand paint ...
