Looking for FSM with RAF Rescue Launch diorama10 Dec 2004 17:37 GMT1
I'm looking for the issue number of Fine Scale Modeler that contained a very
nice diorama of a ditched Do 217 (I believe) and an RAF Rescue Launch that was
taking the survivors on board. The article discussed casting the sea in quite
some detail. I've searched the FSM indexes, ...

My friends dad was recruited by the OSS from a Boston college.
He was loaned by the OSS to the RAF where he flew with a Polish Squadron.
Later in the war he was dropped into Poland to help the resistance.
He ended up with wings from the Polish Air Force, RAF and U.S. Air Force.

My wife just removed the wiring from an old electric blanket before passing

wire and stripped it to the copper element and lo, there ...

suddenly found that he can receive e-mail but cannot send. Every time he

Dad's homemade pressure chamber - Update10 Dec 2004 02:12 GMT12
Well, Bill Shuey was right. The lid blew off. Fortunately it blew off
during a pressure test after I had convinced Dad that it might not be
safe, so no one was leaning over it and no one was hurt.
I went over for lunch today, and talked him into following the advice

chain, but cannot find it now.  Small Parts and other suppliers do not
seem to have anything smaller than 1/4 pitch, which is too big.  Any
