DML Ho 229B09 Dec 2004 03:45 GMT2
I,m building this kit and am at the point that I need to install the
front fuselage piece. The question is, do I need to add some ballast in
front of the main wheels? Is this kit a tail sitter? Looks like if it
is, it shouldn't take too much weight. Has anyone built this kit?

Are there any other kits besides the old Matchbox one of the PB4Y-2 Privateer?
Injection-molded preferred, as I have never done anything with resin or vacuform.
I have the old Matchbox one and intend to build it (got it at a yard sale),
but wondering if there have been any others.. ...
Which hull style for beginner ship modeller?08 Dec 2004 15:38 GMT29
After seeing the movie "Master and Commander", I thought that I might
enjoy building a model ship.  Since I hadn't done any model building for
so long (about 10 years), I went out and bought a model car kit (Revell
Datsun 240Z) and have slowly been working my way through it.  ...

to Ken Duffey: MiG-29s08 Dec 2004 05:18 GMT16
I loved your roundup of kits of the big and mean Su-27 out there. Has
anyone done the same for the lean and mean MiG-29 (or do you plan to)?

meaning of aircraft interior colors08 Dec 2004 05:02 GMT16
WWII aircraft come in a number of interior colours--lime green
(American), grey green (British), metallic blue (Japanese), etc. As I
know that's the colour of the anti-corrosive primer painted on the
inside--what kind of primer exactly is it?

Jimmy Stewart Rolls In His Grave08 Dec 2004 03:28 GMT16
I've just seen the trailer for the remake of "Flight of
the Phoenix."  Whatever screenwriter came up with
the script ought to be lined up against a wall and
shot, numerous times.  I originally wondered how
