Graphite piston25 Dec 2004 09:18 GMT11
Have any of the members an idea where to find graphite rod, diameter 20 - 25
mm, or more, for turning graphite pistons for use in a stirling engine.
Maybe some links to manufactures on the mainland (Europe) or the UK. Any
reply would be welcome.

The odd things you tend to just pick up.25 Dec 2004 05:58 GMT2
A couple of weeks ago, I attended a sale and picked up a few odds and
ends for myself such as an indexing table, selection of drills and
reamer's.
Amongst some of the bits thrown into the boxes to make then look
Future Tamiya 1/72?25 Dec 2004 05:38 GMT37
Just curious if anyone has heard or read any hints about what Tamiya
may be bringing out in 1/72. My dream is they continue to shrink their
1/48 releases down and bring out a Swordfish. Of course, they'll
probably just come out with a Zero.
Decal Paper Prices25 Dec 2004 05:09 GMT1
Does anyone have any suggestions on the best (cheapest?) place to buy
decal paper? Specifically I'm looking for Inkjet decal paper (8 1/2 x
11). I've checked decal paper.com and beldecal.com and they've got
pricing of $17.99 per 20 sheet pack of white and clear decal paper.

Any one make 1/72 US Navy sailors?24 Dec 2004 08:55 GMT5
I noticed since the 1/72 Revell U-boat was released, there are numerous
German crewmen available, in both resin & white metal, all in beautiful
action or relaxed poses.  does anyone make similar figures for US navy
sailors for a 1/72 PT boat?  I would really like some with the ...

Help with Italeri M113 tracks 24 Dec 2004 07:46 GMT2
Hi, I am a bit of a newb to modeling. I only like 1:35 Vietnam stuff right

M113 A1 armor kit (no 276). My problem
is this: I do not understand the tracks at all. I simply can't figure out

Just started painting my model yesterday & today. Not that pretty I

says I paint the main part with one color & the protruding areas with
