Ebay in the toilet?31 Jan 2005 22:07 GMT14
Anyone else having trouble with eBay? I can browse and search but
anything requiring an ID (login, bid, Buy it Now, Seeing My Ebay) gives
me a "Page cannot be displayed error". PayPal, too. I sent an email to
tech support but the response sounds as if they have no idea this is

Types of paintbrushes31 Jan 2005 11:29 GMT3
I've been painting my model for a month or so now but I've never quite
been oriented with my paintbrushes. All I had was a small pointed brush
for painting a small area. I later bought a super thin pointed brush
for much smaller parts & my girlfriend gave me an extra big brush from

Just received Academy's re-released Viper and while the kit is nice, the

Hey all.
I ran across this link.  It has some shockingly interesting

Gear Cutters31 Jan 2005 00:12 GMT19
Following on from my recent request for gear suppliers I thought I'd
check how much gear cutters would cost (I had just assumed it wouldn't
be worth buying them for a few gears).  As I thought when looking at
DP cutters there are about 8 cutters for each DP, depending on the
Problems with Xtracrylics30 Jan 2005 23:53 GMT6
I've just used this new paint range from Hannants, more specifically their
matt varnish. The finish is perfect, but..... My airbrush clogged every five
seconds : a white substance appeared on the needle and the spray head. I
diluted the varnish with water (as mentioned on the ...
Question - Woodkrafter Coast Guard Eagel30 Jan 2005 15:53 GMT1
Okay, I picked up a "Woodkrafter kit" Coast Guard Eagle today... and I
have everything I need to start, except I think I was shorted the
"brads" in the package. There's only one metal piece in there... so...
was this something that the directions failed to mention, or was I
Airfix 1/72 Severn Lifeboat?30 Jan 2005 09:30 GMT9
This is listed as a future release on the Hannants website, joining the
TSR and another version of the Concorde as new Airfix offerings in
1/72. I assume the Concorde is the same kit as released earlier except
with Air France markings.

MPM FW 190C kit enquiry29 Jan 2005 19:46 GMT2
Sometime back, MPM isued a kit of an FW 190C prototype, IIRC. If so, can
anyone tell me the specific prototype the kit claimed to represent? It
was almost certainly in the range V29-V33, but I'd like as tight an ID
as possible, for a build article I'm writing on a related variant ...
Impressions of Ally Pally Show.29 Jan 2005 10:50 GMT24
1. The parking (and the marshalling of parking) was atrocious. Despite
the car park at the top of the hill being jam-packed, they were still
allowing
traffic to approach it; traffic which then had to try to turn around in
