| Heads up - 25% off most stuff at J&L this week | 10 Feb 2005 20:13 GMT | 1 |
Ref the thread about reamers the other day. The J&L website was apparently not working properly the first night I tried it but a couple of days later it was ok and I got my account set up. I've ordered a bunch of stuff online today including the reamer I wanted

| REVELL MONOGRAM 1/48 SWIFT BOAT MODEL | 10 Feb 2005 16:08 GMT | 83 |
The new catalog from Squadron says it comes with the markings for Kerry's boat. Wonder if it comes with a purple band-aid if one gets a self inflicted modeling wound?

| [Armor] Well, softskins, actually, and the M151 in particular | 10 Feb 2005 10:06 GMT | 12 |
I may take on a commission build of a Viet Nam era Security Police M151A1 as used at Clark AB. Am I correct in remembering that Tamiya's kit is an A1 but somewhat simplified and that someone (Academy?) has released an A2 that is superior to it?

| What is Johnsons Klear and is it available in the UK? | 10 Feb 2005 09:59 GMT | 5 |
I have read many articles where Johnsons Klear is applied to paint finishes or to polish plastic parts (mainly from books and Fine Scale Modeller). What is Johnsons Klear? Some sort of Polish? Does anyone know if I can buy it in the UK? Thanks in advance.

| Real Bridgeport or Warco | 10 Feb 2005 07:52 GMT | 5 |
I have read similar topics over the last few months, I am considering whether to buy a genuine Bridgeport....second hand of course, or to go the new route of a Warco VMC. I have been watching all the sales of BP's for months now on Ebay, and

| Me 262 Towed Fuel Tank | 10 Feb 2005 07:33 GMT | 1 |
A review of the A & V 1/72 Fieseler F 103 SG 5041 (towed fuel tank) mentions that Hasegawa had a similar item in a limited run Me 262 kit. Anybody have the Hasegawa kit or perhaps can supply me with a photocopy of the box art?

| Revell 1:48 McDonnell Douglas FG.1 Phantom | 10 Feb 2005 01:49 GMT | 3 |
Could anyone answer a few questions: 1: Have Revell ever produced a 1:48 FG.1 Phantom with Royal Navy markings? and if so, 2: Is it the same tooling as the Hasegawa 1:48 FG.1 Phantom?

| Model production blocked by company lawyers??? | 10 Feb 2005 01:29 GMT | 38 |
I received this today. I'm not sure how to take it, although after the Sikorski story I guess I'd believe anything. Would be nice to find this is an over reaction. "For over half a century, kits have been sold that enable military history

Got my Linberg destroyer Melvin model out of my stash. Thought I would do a little boating as a break from armor modeling. I had read that it wasn't all that accurate so I compared it to my Tamiya 1/350 Fletcher. BIG differance there. I wont go into all of the differances as there ...
