What's you opinion of Trumpeter kits in general?  I've not purchased nor
seen one out of box so I thought I'd draw on the opinions of the

has there been any gossip as to any aftermarket biplanes for
1/350 carriers?  Any major refit required for the Trumpeter kit to
make it a pre war carrier?

A couple of questions concerning the load out on the F/A-18E/F
Are the launch rails that are mounted on sta. 2 and 10 (outer underwing
pylons) the same as sta. 1 and 11 (wingtip AIM-9 launch rails)?
The 1/72nd scale Hasegawa kit (E19) has you install the wrong part (N5)

Can anyone help me locate some 8mm X 1mm LH allthread.
I fetched my little TOYO lathe out yesterday,first time in six year
and after very little use yesterday the threads on the leadscrew hav
shot it. They must have been on the verge last time I used it.

On the basis that I would like to use the selection of chucks that I
have for my lathe on my dividing head I need to make a dummy L00
spindle mount. The taper part is a simple but the locking collar is a
bit of a pain due to size & shape (I don't keep 4.5 round mild steel on
