Red Baron Triplane16 Feb 2005 20:30 GMT6
Anybody have any tips on how to make the padding that went around the
cockpit edge of a World War I aircraft.  My old man has given me all his
built models that he made during his years in the USAF, and I want to go
back and rebuild them as they are all falling apart anyway.  ...
Slightly OT - BB59 USS Massachusetts16 Feb 2005 19:50 GMT15
I took my kids to see this ship yesterday at Battleship Cove, Fall River. I
had been there once before, probably 25 years ago. It was a fascinating
trip - with access to many areas of the ship. There needs to be some staff
around though, because there is no one available to ask any ...
WTD:small brass gear pair.16 Feb 2005 19:20 GMT5
Sorry if this is the wrong group, but its as close to the right one I suspect I can
find.
I'm an astronomer, and I am building a tracking system for my camera. The 1 rpm
motor I have runs the wrong way, and I need to attach a pair of gears to simply
Trumpeter 1/350 Lexington description question16 Feb 2005 13:53 GMT9
Squadron description says its in a pre Coral Sea configuration.
The Great Models ad in FSM says its the May 1942 config.
What was so different in its config inside of a month to make such
descriptions necessary?  Comes with and without torpedo/bomb holes?
Need  Instructions in English16 Feb 2005 13:43 GMT3
I finally got a deal I couldn't refuse on the Tamiya 1/350th Enterprise,
which I am going to back date to the Beehive Island.  Problem is the
instructions in this kit are in Japanese.  I suppose I could follow the
pictures and figure it out, but I'd like to do it in English if I ...

I am now convinced that I'm not getting all the posts on this forum,
as I'm seeing replies to posts previously unseen. Anyone else using
news.btinternet.com and experiencing the same phenomenon ? Any
suggestions for a more reliable news server?

Hi all - I'm building an R/C C47 model to take part in a 60th anniversary of
VE day celebration (see www.operationspanhoe.co.uk), modelling it on one of
the aircraft of the 315th Troop Carrier Group that was based at Spanhoe
1944/45. I have access to several contemporary photos, but ...

I am finally gettting round to building my FM Alize.  Can anyone point me to
pictures of the interior, or let me in on the colour scheme?  The
instructions say tan for the bays, is this correct, and what about the
cockpit?
