You can download a copy of 26th edition Machinery's Handbook (the

Anyone travelling Nottingham -> SE London ?12 Mar 2005 10:54 GMT1
Can any list members help me with a transport need?
I have a few bits and bobs (motor / small transformer / other odds &
sods - nothing too heavy) to move from a certain 'far from cynical'
traders establishment in Long Eaton to Bromley, which is SE London /
Williams Bros 1/53 scale Electra12 Mar 2005 05:00 GMT5
Just a question purely out of interest.
Why did Williams Bros choose this unusual scale?

1/48 scale Japanese Aircraft Carrier crew...11 Mar 2005 23:08 GMT1
I been wanting to ask this question for a long time. I know Tamiya made some
figures for the Hamp kit. But is there anyone or any company that makes the
figures of a 1/48 scale Japanese Aircraft Deck Crew?
I wished they did make them.

Hi, does anyone know the exact colour used for the Lighnings based in
Germany in the 70s and 80s? I have been scratching around for a while
trying to find the correct shade of green, but have had no luck so
far.

Anyone here do a bit of casting?11 Mar 2005 12:11 GMT2
Hi. I may need a small casting job doing.  I'm not sure yet. I've got
something called a water rower and it seems to me that the lock plate is
not designed to do the job it was meant to do.
If you go here you will see the lock plate (not in detail) and the

FIAT 3000 Model 21 tank reference?10 Mar 2005 23:29 GMT2
I recently purchased (admittedly, an impulse buy) a Tauro 1:35 scale
FIAT 3000 Model 21 tank kit.  I've found very little in the way of
reference material on the 'Net.  Does anyone have any color photos of
this beast?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
F-4S vs F-4B appearances10 Mar 2005 22:25 GMT2
Hello to all you Phantom Phlashers out there.  My Big E project is moving
slowly.  I'm going to order some Tamiya 1/350th scale Phantoms for the
flight deck.  The kit says they are F-4S.  I need F-4Bs.  What changes will

Tamiya car window masks10 Mar 2005 15:48 GMT2
Newbie question: I'm putting together a Tamiya 1/24 Honda Jazz. The kit has
masks for painting round the windows. Are these supposed to be adhesive (and if
so, how?), or are they just patterns to cut the required shapes out of masking
tape?
