Hi....I live in NO. Va., USA and have a lot of old model and aircraft
magazines to dispose of....Scale Modeler, His-Air-Dec, Air Enthusiast, Air
Progress, IPMS, Replica in Scale, AirophileFlying Review International., Air
Force,  etc....mostly from mid 60's to about the late 80's ...

I was tapping out some 8mm and 6mm stud threads in an aluminium cylinder
head today and decided to use the shiny new (albeit second hand) taps I
picked up from Sert Tools the other weekend. No problem with the 8mm one
which cleans the 15 or so threads in the head out quite normally ...

I'm looking for ideas and guidance on building a heat exchanger. This
will be used in anodising where the hot will be the electrolite (5%
sulphuric acid) and the cold will be running tap water.

I want to make my own chuck guard for my lathe and some for my
surface/tool grinder. I had bought a smallish sheet of acrylic from
B&Q it  formed nicely using a hot air gun, but after a week or so it
formed cracks (not at the bends surprisingly) and just broke up.

Need help figuring out the size of the prop on a P-6E.
Here's my problem: I've got 4 of the Mono 1/72 P-6E. One is missing
the prop. Fine - I'll get metal ones and replace all 4. I measured it
did the math and came out to some ridiculous number under 8'. I

I've try google, but haven't find, so - does anyone actually know what color
was  the WW II carrier Ark Royal' deck ??

I was interested in the boiler inspectors work on Fred Dibnah's programme
last night. Obviously it was only the steam test but it seemed very laid
back. Not a mention of ensuring the safety valves would keep the pressure
down with a full fire. But I liked Fred's use of the oats to ...

As my currant project is a Stuart 10, I can't pretend the steam valves I
need are for it :-)
I need a 3" bore pressure regulator, a 4" pneumatic controlled flow
controller, and a few other 3" and 4" bore steam bits.

I have recently started work on a Stuart 10V (for which I bought the
castings a couple of years ago).  This is the first time I have made

Sorry for not posting sooner, but *I* needed to recover a little.  My
Grandmother's "same day" surgery turned into an overnight obeservation
(understandable given her age) and then we ended up staying in the
hospital until Thursday of last wk.
