I'm coming back to the hobby after an absence of about 30 odd years and one
of the first kits I'm building is the Academy 1/48 F-14A.
The bad news is I've lost the rear cockpit instrument panel and joystick.
The kit's been sitting in my cupboard for years and obviously these pieces ...

Does anyone know where I might aquire a kit of the HMS Manchester or HMS
Gloucester? White Ensign has a 1/350 version that "is not" in production at

Having a renewed interest in diecast replicas, I bought what I thought

I'm having terrible time painting the rubber on tank road wheels without it
getting on the rim. I've use paint on a fine pointed brush and I've even
tried using sharpie permanent markers. No matter how careful I am it never
fails that at least the tops of the rims get covered in ...
