Not long ago I tried my very first 1/16 figure. It was a Dragon German
Officer. Because I wasn't sure how the experience would go, I opted for
plastic instead of resin. I'm not very experienced with resin, and
besides, the plastic figures are generally much cheaper.

Hello, I've returned to the model kit world, after being to grown up
for 8 years ;). I've never really dealt with more than simple oob
paintschemes, and am looking for some newbie guides, tutorials and so

A little off topic but I think Trek modelers will appreciate knowing
whats going on.......
The first model I ever built was the old  AMT kit of the Enterprise.

I'm currently 'solution treating' a cast lump of 'LM26' aluminium
alloy (85% Al, 10.5% Si 2% Cu 1% Mg) and the process calls for the

hi all ,i'm hoping for a bit of advice ! ive offered to make an adapto
for a boat steering wheel . the new wheel has a larger taper etc to th
origional and needs a counter bore to let the nut tighten on the shaft

I havent seen any postings for shows in the New Orleans or Mobile, AL

I come across some awful bodges perpetrated on boats from time to
