have found only a very few cockpit photos. Looking for cockpit & gear
bay photos/drawings. The kit's a DOG,but buildable, so any help would

Seems the pics of Tamiya's 1/350 line shows the same hull red for
Germany, Japan, USA and England.    Did we all shop at the same paint
store or is hull red as basic as black and white....?

Testors Model Master Acrylics Question25 Mar 2005 00:29 GMT6

Airbrushing Future?25 Mar 2005 00:27 GMT6
I'm trying something new- something I've read about many times-- using my
airbrush to apply future as a gloss coat before decalling.  I've used a
brush in  the past, but it sometimes went on a little thick, or picked up
little airbubbles from the brush.
Cleaning Phot Etch Frets25 Mar 2005 00:25 GMT10
I'm about to begin playing with phot etch for the first time.  The
directions say to clean the frets with mineral spirits.  Is this the same as
paint thinner?  Would white vinegar do the job?
Thanks,

Minicraft Delta 777 with new "accurized" Trent engines?24 Mar 2005 14:35 GMT5
I was looking at the box for the "new" Minicraft 1/144 Delta Boeing 777
and noticed that it mentioned "New accurate Trent engines".  Does
anyone know what this means?  Were the Trent engines on their American
Airlines 777 "wrong"?  Do the "new" Trent engines look better or more
Water pump24 Mar 2005 14:25 GMT14
I know this isn't quite a engineering question but it does seem vaguely
related. I need a high volume 12V DC water pump. It has to be cheap and
fairly small (it has to fit into a cylinder 9inches diameter). Any ideas?
Thanks Michael

Henry C K Liu writes frequently for Asia Times Online.  Do look up his
other articles on China.  Thuis one on the resignation of Tung
Chee-hwa is really long and worth reading.

For example to specify arm sketchesand pivot points on such as a pantograph
Is a lathe essential for begiinners24 Mar 2005 10:15 GMT5
Just started in Model engineering & wondered if a lathe is really essential
for a beginner. Should I concentrate on Hand tools skills first?
