| Eduard 35772 Japanese Type 97 Medium Tank detail set - Limited edition? | 28 Apr 2005 04:19 GMT | 2 |
Pancakes. On saturday, as I was placing an order with Squadron for RPM's Soviet T-60 Light Tank with Applique Armor and Techmod's track set, I came to remember that I also needed another set of Eduard's recently released

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=50304&item=5971316264 I wonder if it can be built with the landing gear extended or retracted? Does it come with Navy or Marine markings?

| (Naval) Spanish American Boat | 27 Apr 2005 20:18 GMT | 5 |
Recently I ran across a very old book in the non-circulating part of our library, concerning the Spanish-American War. Since I have a Maine, Olympia and Oregon on my "to do" list, I thought that I's xerox the photos of these and other naval vessels depicted. The book was

| ME mags | 27 Apr 2005 15:16 GMT | 3 |
I've posted an ad on the Home Workshop ads site (http://www.homeworkshop.org.uk/) for a bunch of Model Engineer mags. See details there - it may be a few hours before the ad appears (they just can't get the staff you know... <G>), but the headlines are :

| D-Day stripes | 27 Apr 2005 12:12 GMT | 10 |
A thought has just occured to me (can you smell the burning?) On an allied aircraft with D-Day stripes applied to the undersurfaces, is it likely that the stripes would extend onto the undercarriage doors, given that the undercarriage would almost certainly be down when the stripes ...

| Noisy glow worm 35SXi | 27 Apr 2005 11:44 GMT | 7 |
Recently had a glow-worm 35SXi fitted in the back of the garage and it sometimes makes a significant roaring noise - if it were in the kitchen this would be really annoying. I'd heard that condensing boilers were noisier than the bog-standard ones but are they supposed to "roar"?

| SAAF Dakota Target Tug | 27 Apr 2005 06:47 GMT | 3 |
I'm looking for photos online, or a link that I could use, to find photos of Dakota #6877 during the time it was used as a target tug by the SAAF. My friend wants to build Monogram's 1/48th scale C-47 in this scheme. During this period (Iunfortunately I don't have specific dates)

| Matchbox Flower Class Corvette | 27 Apr 2005 06:32 GMT | 1 |
Gathering references and parts to begin this model, I noticed one part that is really unusable; the stand. What's a nice looking stand for a kit of this size? Supports cut to match the contour of the hull? Dowells?

There was a movie trailer that I saw a few months ago. It was about US prisioners of war during WWII and there were killed by the SS. The movie is rather new.

| why no alps printer? | 27 Apr 2005 03:47 GMT | 2 |
This must have been asked before, but why are Alps Printers unavailable in the US market? Would I be able to buy one in Europe and would they be available in consumer computer stores? Would there be a problem getting adapters to match US electric current?

| 1/72 nd scale F/A-18A/C....which is the better choice...Hasegawa or Fujimi | 26 Apr 2005 22:47 GMT | 2 |
Which kit is the better or lesser of two evils. I have tried to build the Hasegawa kit twice and have now acquired the Fujimi kit. In ya'lls pseudo-honest opinions which is the best one. Pros and cons would be good. What should I look out for with each.
