Can anybody recommend a cheap or free CAD application to run on a PC? It is
to be used for ocaissional simple 2 dimensional drawings such as clock
parts. I have an ancient one called TotalCAD (version 1) by IMSI which does
all I need, but it is so awkward and cumbersome to use that ...

Engine mounted in the nose behind clamshell doors, cooling provided thru
intakes in the fuselage sides.  Looks aerodynamic and it must have been a

Anyone built this kit?  I'm trying to decide whether of not to buy this
one or spring for the extra bucks to buy the Academy Kit.  Any

What sort of gears are used in ratchet mechanisms? I am looking at an
auto-traverse gear on a Boxford shaper, which is missing a couple of
teeth. I would like to make a new one.

What im wanting to do is make some parts for some of the fire models im
converting by making molds of existing parts from other models etc (the

I understand that Trumpeter will be releasing a 1/32 A-7E some time soon
and I was wondering if anyone knows of any test shot images on the net?
 I would love one of these but I understand from a lot of people that
the quailites of Trumpeter kits vary greatly from kit to kit ...
