Academy 1/32 F-16CG/CJ In-Box Review Online07 May 2005 21:24 GMT2
Greetings all. The Academy kit arrived yesterday and it looks sweet! Check
out the in-box review on Cybermodeler Online (www.cybermodeler.com) and the

Painting clear parts07 May 2005 21:14 GMT4
I'm making a small CHP motorcycle. The windshield is clear plastic and lower
part needs to be painted white.
I'm using Humbrol gloss white (No. 22) but the first coat of paint applied
by brush looked streaky and showed brush marks. I have applied a second
Revell Artist Jack Leynnwood in June Wings Magazine07 May 2005 20:36 GMT2
Just picked up the June issue of Wings Magazine that contains a
fascinating article about Revell artist Jack Leynnwood.  Leynnwood
painted a massive amount of box art for Revell spanning the 1950s
through the mid-70s.  I always found his box top paintings totally

Harrogate Sunday - Busy?06 May 2005 19:50 GMT1
Was intending to go to Harrogate this weekend but the only day I can
make is Sunday. As it's a 4 hour drive (each way), in your experience
is the last day usually very busy? I don't really want to drive all
that way to have to fight to get in, see or buy anything. I normally go

"Civilianized" Aircraft Ejection Seats06 May 2005 17:58 GMT33
What happens to ejection seats in aircraft that are civilianized? Do
they remove the charge and the seat remains or are they still
operational?  Would there be any external difference?  I appreciate any
assistance.
Good Service from a company06 May 2005 07:03 GMT4
I have to give a big thumbs up to Pananvise. Recently while unpacking
modeling tools and stuff I unpacked my Panavise to discover a problem. I
have the #366 Wide Opening Head, bought it 'cause I figured it would hold
almost anything and I was right.
[FFSMC] Cheap ebay like service05 May 2005 21:12 GMT20
I just added a new service to the FFSMC : an auction service, like on
ebay, but very cheaper, even I propose a lot of functions (personnal

Seen a couple of posts regarding something going on in Harrogate at the

so if there is some event on I'll pop round there and get them.

Grey cutting oil05 May 2005 09:56 GMT6
Went to use my CNC Bridgeport today and found that the soluble cutting
fluid had gone grey! No nasty rancid smell, and it hadn't
de-emulsified - it's only been in for a matter of maybe 5 weeks, with
occassional use cutting aluminium alloys.

doing it but come across a problem as I have 2 right hand engine cowlings.
Does any body know the website or e-mail address for Czech Master

Model traction engine tyres05 May 2005 02:42 GMT4
I'm looking for a source of rubber sheet for some traction engine tyres.
The engine is 1.25" scale so I guess the tyres ought to be about 6mm thick.
The rear wheels are about 187mm diameter, 40mm wide and smooth.  Historical
accuracy is not essential but I'd like the tyres to look ...
