I'll be off RMS for a while05 May 2005 02:24 GMT3
I will be leaving early tomorrow morning on temporary military duty for a
couple weeks and will be off-line on RMS during that time.  If anyone has a
burning desire to contact me, I expect to sporadically monitor my e-mail,
modelhawk@aol.com, until I return.
New Battlestar Galactica Viper Mark II04 May 2005 21:41 GMT7
I've been thinking of kitbashing one of the Monogram Vipers
(apparently Mark I {g}) that I have on the shelf to the new series'
Mark II standard.
But the more I look at the photos, the harder it looks. The Mark I
F-104S Intakes04 May 2005 21:34 GMT5
Are the Cutting Edge F-104S intakes for the Hasegawa G noticably larger

different inlet spike?
I can't tell the G/S intake differences in photos, and I'm quite happy

Trumpeter/Hobby Craft  - Same Kit, Why?04 May 2005 19:23 GMT1
just saw that Trumpeter's Corsair and Lightning are also released by
Hobby Craft.  What is the purpose of a kit being released at the same
time by two different companies?  All I can see are different decals
and the HC kit may be a little cheaper. Other than that .....

Hobby Lobby - Trumpeter04 May 2005 00:19 GMT3
Cruising by the Longmont, Colorado, Hobby Lobby when no 50% sale was
running, I noticed for the first time plastic kits by Trumpeter that were
not packaged under the Hobbycraft label. Seen were .....

Best 1/35 Sherman?03 May 2005 23:59 GMT12
Any seasoned AFV modellers out there who can tell me the best kit to use as
a basis for a British version based in India 44-45. My father used to drive
one whilst with the 25th Dragoons and I would like to be as accurate as
possible. He can`t remember serial no etc but the crew ...

The Problem I have is not knowing if I should paint the Clear Blue on the

Pre Harrogate advice - who do I throw money at?03 May 2005 15:19 GMT5
Hi, apologies for a fairly long first request for help. Early
retirement due to poor health a couple of years ago has meant that
after some improvement, I can now spend some time using the machines
that fell into my path over the last 25 years. Actual use of these
All Hells Breaking Loose Now...03 May 2005 15:17 GMT7
Just sighted a report that the Polar Lights 1/350 scale model of the Refit
Enterprise has arrived. Starship Modeler has it on their site. So I guess
you scifi fans out there are being like the Boy Scouts, BE PREPAIRED!
I am waiting the last day of the month to get mine though.
Paint03 May 2005 09:03 GMT4

Regards
