Ju-88A4 ProMod.27 May 2005 11:37 GMT5
Just picked one up on eBay very cheap. There seems to be a glut oif them
recently as well as the Revell 1/48 Ju-52 which I may bve weakening on.
Anyway, first rate, box was opened but the parts bags are inside a larger
bag. I think it may be a buyer's market right now.
Vincent wheels needed27 May 2005 10:08 GMT1
I have a Matchbox 1.12 plastic kit of a Vincent Black Shadow motorcycle
which is missing the tyres, clear parts and decal sheet. Any idea where I
might find these parts, especially the tyres? Is there anyone dealing in
obscure(?) bits.

Que. re: Hawker Hunter scheme in Revell 1/32 kit26 May 2005 19:59 GMT1
I was poking around trying to get some pictures of the 208 Sqn. Hunter
depicted on the decals in the 1/32 Revell Hunter kit.  The kit scheme
seems to be a mixture of 208 Sqn. and 8 Sqn. markings.
The decal sheet has the stripes around the roundel and squadron badge

Fist Post I'm afraid, so be gentle...
Anyway, I wonder if any of you guys can help me identify a lathe I have

centres. It is currently sitting on a converted treadle stand, but

Squadron has the ORP Wicher & ORP Burza Destroyer Kits in  1/400  Scale.
Can you guys tell me how they are and what to expect inside the box if I
go and order a couple of them.  Could these be made to look better with
some of those after market Ship parts out there.  As it turns ...
4 Jaw Independent Chuck - TOS?25 May 2005 14:52 GMT9
I thought I would treat myself to a new 4 Jaw Independent Chuck (6
inch) for my new (old) Boxford. When I buy 3 jaw chucks I usually stick
with TOS and have never (yet) had a problem. I can't find anyone who
lists TOS 4 jaw independents, obviously with no concentricity to worry
I need some 4mm thick mild steel spacers making25 May 2005 13:45 GMT1
They go under valve springs in modified engines and up till now I've been
making them on the Student but it's a bit of a pain without a decent parting
off system. On a cnc they'd be a minute or so each to do after setting up.
Another way of doing it would be to have round blanks ...
