ship models?  The last model I got there was the "Independance" by
Artesania Latina, that sold for about $75.    Other kits in the same
category are now priced at close to $200  less than a year later.  They

Rationale for ME type threads ?03 Jun 2005 08:41 GMT3
The question's as the title - can anyone tell me what the rationale is

Thanks,
Mig 29 Decals03 Jun 2005 00:16 GMT1
Some decal company recently released a set of decals for the Mig 29.
The subject was for the German Air force in a goodbye tour with that
aircraft. There were stylised markings on both sides one with the
American Flag and the other of the German flag. The question is what
Rigging Thread for Heller HMS Victory02 Jun 2005 14:46 GMT1
I am in the process of gathering info about the Heller HMS Victory.
The kit I have has only 0.3mm and 0.6mm sizes.
I am interested in what modelers have used or are using for their
rigging thread, ie. size, color, who manufactured the thread. etc....
Special Hobby vs Frog?02 Jun 2005 14:24 GMT2
With a lot of SH recent releases, I notice many are a/c, or
variations of a/c, that Frog previously released. I haven't compared
any, but is SH actually 'copying' old Frog kits? What's even more
curious to me is, Frog kits of the same a/c that SH has can usually be
A-10 thunderbolt yellow primer02 Jun 2005 08:32 GMT4
I'm building an 1/72nd OOB Academy A-10 Thunderbolt II. I would like to
paint this model in yellow primer just like those seen in one of the first
pictures in the Color & Markings book on the A-10. But what colour
combination would work for the primer paint?

Revell Blue Angels F-4J02 Jun 2005 03:18 GMT6
Was at the HL checking out the sale today and came across the "current"
Revell Blue Angels F-4J. Is this the old Monogram kit, or a repackaging
of the Hasegawa kit? If it's the latter, may need to pick one up.

Film called "The bed" or some such01 Jun 2005 14:43 GMT1
Oddball request here !
Does anyone remember a film called something like 'The Bed' where a
foundry worker was laid off and had a lifetime ambition to make his
own fancy cast iron bed. He built his own cupola in the back area of
