I picked up the Revellogram 1/48 P-38 at a thrift shop yesterday
($1.51) and those words were at the end of the instructions. I looked
at the trees; it referred to the parts that could be used to make the
F-5 model, all of which were there!

Does anyone use one of those cheap Chinese boring heads that "our
suppliers" sell by the hundreds? I had one bought for me as a present
about 2 Harrogates ago and have just had the misfortune to try and use
it.

I just stumbled across this on ebay, item number
6172135601  It is worth a look, as I don't think I've ever seen a
finer lathe.  Mind you, it's at over ten grand and still hasn't hit
reserve!!

Living in the US I cant seem to find Gunze Sangyo Mr Color paints (The
Lacquer Based versions) anywhere.
HLJ offers Gundam Color and a few military colors but does not offer Mr
Color as individual paints.

I saw what looked like a commercial passenger jet heading toward Sea-Tac, or
Boeing field in Seattle a couple of days ago. The unusual feature on this
jet that caught my eye, were forward wings/canards over or slightly behind
the cockpit. They looked almost like Harrier wings ...
