Arrand vs Greenwood24 Jun 2005 16:55 GMT3
I'd like to set my self up with good a set of carbide tip indexabl
tools. Both Greenwood and Arrand seem to offer this at similar(ish
prices (which meet my budget).

24volt battery charger?24 Jun 2005 16:16 GMT2
Has anyone got a 24v 20 amp battery charger taking up space that
they'd like to convert to folding money?

Revell Hunter colour schemes24 Jun 2005 15:25 GMT10
The yellow spine, tailfeathers and wing bands on XG204/B, Fighter Combat
School, CFE, West Raynham 1961 (the cover painting subject) have been
bothering me unreasonably.  I associate the yellow markings with the
two-seat Hunters, on a silver background.  Looking through my few
Where are the 2005 Nats?24 Jun 2005 14:11 GMT5
I'm confused.  Are the Nats in Atlanta or Smyrna?  The map on the IPMS site
is too small and useless.  I can't afford $120.00/night in Atlanta, but I
might be able to afford $50-60.00/night within an hour of Atlanta.  I've
been on mapquest--now I'm on google maps.  Google shows the ...
Precision measuring tools24 Jun 2005 00:05 GMT9
I'm looking for something like a digital caliper, but with micrometer, or
better, accuracy. All of the calipers I've checked out (on the RS web site)
have a quoted accuracy of 0.02 to 0.03mm, which isn't much good when the
display resolves to 0.01mm.

WTB: Esoteric Sidestrand/Overstrand23 Jun 2005 14:14 GMT11
 I've got a friend (computer-challenged, therefore
internet-challenged) from Maine looking for Esoteric's vacuformed
Boulton-Paul Sidestrand/Overstrand to build. I think the kit comes with
the option for both types of aircraft, but if not he's looking for the
WTB/WTT: B-52D decals, 1/7223 Jun 2005 10:07 GMT3
I am looking for a person willing to part with a set of decals for the
1/72 B-52D I'm building. I'd love an NMF scheme but, really, everything
would do. The sheet in my kit is badly yellowed, the SAC band is the
wrong color, and I don't really want to know how these decals would

How to restore an old caved-in box?22 Jun 2005 23:25 GMT9
I recently acquired an old (seventies) kit, and the side of the box have
caved in considerably. This makes it difficult to open the box (the lid
clamps itself) and the parts are also pushed together. Does a technique
exist to restore the box a bit? My first idea is using an iron, ...
Has anybody experiences with AModel 1/72 Myasishchev 3M Bison22 Jun 2005 23:04 GMT2
I'm thinking about buying the Myasishchev 3M Bison in scale 1:72 from
Amodel.
However, as it's a bit expensive, I'm looking for links to reviews (or
preview) of this kit.
