Because I'm a mad scientist and I want to destroy the world, but first
I have to play "destroy the world" with scale models.
Are there any Doomsday Devices available ?

I am currently building a 1/48 D3A "Val" dive bomber from Fujimi. The kit
canopy is such that it can only be modeled "buttoned up." I am making my own
canopy so that I can model the aircraft with the canopy open. My problem is
that I want the rear seat open with the rear mounted ...

Those of you who are interested likely already know this has been
re-released with RAF and RN options in one box and that a foul up at
the packing shop has all the parts for two full kits in one box for
this first run of kits.  I am wondering if anyone has seen the new

I am going to be building a 1/72 He-111H-6 from Hasegawa in about a month or
two. Does anybody know if there are EZ Masks or an equivalent that could
save me some masking time on the front greenhouse?

I have a south facing wall of my house that some fool decided would
look good with 25 feet of glass block. It looks ugly and is a heat
sink.  Until I can replace the wall I need to find a way to cover
the glass to cool it down and reduce the light coming in.

in the midst of a sad week, i got to go to a hl during a 50%
plastic sale. got the old tamy panther, the updated late
panther and the mercury capsule.
all for about $65. the updated panther was labeled $19.90.

   I finally obtained a copy of that new, upgraded release of the
Battle of Britain movie DVD from Amazon, UK. Now this is a "region 2"
DVD. I have been told that there are multi region DVD players available.

I have 15 or 16 unbuilt 1/48 scale aircraft kits I would like to dispose
of - bought when full of enthusiasm, but have long since returned to my
primary interest of R/C aircraft. I have recently moved to a small apartment
so really haven't the space to store unwanted models any ...

I had a query the other day from a fellow Beaver Mill owner about the
lubrication of the head.
He had found the drain plug and sight glass but couldn't see where to fill it.
The filler plug is inside the belt housing above the head, lubricant is Macoma75

I was looking for a boring heads for my milling machine, and saw what
I thought would be just the thing on ebay.  There was no picture, but
I thought a boring head was a boring head.  Anyway it arrrived this
morning, and it is unlike any boring head I've ever seen.  It is
