Tunisia Tiger from Dragon "Initial Production" kit?19 Jul 2005 21:39 GMT3
So, I got the Dragon 1/53 Tiger I "Initial Prodiction" kit for half price at
Hobby Lobby.  It includes options for three eastern front vehicles, but is
it possible to make one of the Tigers deployed in North Africa from this
kit?  If so, what kind of work needs to be done?  ...
Saturn V big scale scratch build idea19 Jul 2005 20:14 GMT23
I know I can't be the only guy that mulls the possibilities of the big
diameter PVC while trapsing around one's local contractor supply company. I
always thought the stuff would make for a good Saturn V model.  Lately I've
been ODing on the "From the Earth to the Moon" DVDs, but ...

Custom Dioramics19 Jul 2005 04:34 GMT3
I'm into a figure-building phase, and as I work on improving my
techniques I'm enjoying these very much. My chosen scale is 1/35 and/or
1/32, but since I like to create vignettes rather than larger dioramas,
I'm always on the lookout for suitable scenic items for small area.

I am thinking about starting to do model engineering, I went to college in
1966 and had some training on lathes. I seem to have forgot all they taught
me so I was going to purchase a DVD. I wondered if any one had seen the DVD
either the Rudy Kouhoupt one or the one from Chronos, ...

Krylon spray18 Jul 2005 07:02 GMT2
I have two cans of Krylon spray paint "camouflage green" and "camouflage
khaki". Does anyone know of the equivalent FS numbers for these? I  used to
have an old bottle that matched green pretty well, but it dried up on me.
Thanks,

1/32 Revell Mirage III18 Jul 2005 00:43 GMT2
Just scored one on eBay. This one only has French and Swiss
marking and I have always wanted to do an IAF bird.
Isradecals doesn't show anything in 1/32 for the Mirage.
Anybody know if someone did/does/has a sheet for the IAF
